Saint Victor la Coste is a quiet village outside of the touristy area of Provence and perfectly located to visit all of the sites, from Provence to the Cevennes hilles and from the Ardeche river gorges to the Mediterranean. Right nearby is the famous Pont du Gard aqueduct and Uzes with its colorful Saturday market full of local produce and arts and crafts. Avignon is just 20 minutes away by car, and just beyond is Arles and the Camargue, the mysterious and beautiful Rhone river delta with its pink flamingoes, wild horses and bulls. To the east are the Alpilles and Les Baux de Provence, Saint Remy to Provence and the other hilltop villages that make this area famous. Within easy driving distance are Nimes, Aix-en-Provence, Orange, and all the sites and towns of Provence as well as its quiet countryside.
